Mental Health Professionals Collaborative

Addressing the critical need for Mental Health Case Managers in Minnesota

Minnesota is facing a critical talent shortage of Mental Health Professionals. Employers have joined together to address the imminent need for Mental Health Professionals at all levels, specifically Mental Health Case Managers.

In the next two years, employers will need over 1,000 part- and full-time MH Case Managers. In response, employers have joined with preferred training partners to address DHS statute training, design “Earn & Learn” apprenticeship models, and enhance the partnership between 2- and 4-year degrees.

The codesigned solutions aim to reduce onboarding costs, improve vacancy factors, invest in employees’ futures, and bring awareness to this critical segment of the healthcare industry.
